Samuel Eto'o has high hopes for Christian Kofane, but urges humility

Eto'o dreams of Kofane becoming even greater than himself. But he warns him not to let his talent go to his head. In a recent appearance on France 24 television, the Cameroonian football legend and president of the football federation clearly expressed his appreciation.

"I want him to do better than Samuel Eto'o. He has everything it takes to do better than Samuel Eto'o. And I don't want him to get a big head today, because he knows how highly I think of him. And I don't want his teammates, because it's a natural feeling, to perhaps take it out on him, because he's receiving congratulations from all over," said Samuel Eto'o.

Christian Kofane was at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco with the Cameroon national team. The Bayer Leverkusen centre forward scored two goals during the tournament.
