Samuel Chukwueze Joins Super Eagles Camp in Lisbon Ahead of Portugal Friendly

Samuel Chukwueze has joined the squad in Lisbon, Portugal, ahead of their high-profile international friendly against Portugal on June 10.

His arrival increases the number of players in camp to 22 as the Super Eagles step up preparations for the encounter.

Chukwueze had previously missed Nigeria’s friendly against Poland due to personal reasons following the burial rites of his mother, which took place just days ago.

The winger is now expected to take part in the team’s first training session in Lisbon later today as head coach Éric Chelle continues to assess his squad ahead of the clash.
