The Ordinary General Assembly OGA of the Guinean Football Federation Feguifoot convened on Thursday 8 May 2025 in the capital Conakry, with representatives from FIFA, CAF, the Ministry of Sports and the Guinean National Olympic Committee in attendance.
The Vote for Change
During the assembly, 51 of the 53 statutory members present voted in favor of removing Aboubacar Dinah Sampil from his position, effectively ending his term that began in January 2024.
This decision follows a provisional suspension imposed on Sampil on April 8, 2025, by the Executive Committee of the Guinean Football Federation.

Now, Sory Doumbouya must work to bring stability back to Feguifoot while assuring interested parties of the federation's dedication to development and advancement.
His leadership is anticipated to have a significant impact on how Guinean football develops in the future.
