Liverpool hosts Chelsea in the central match of the Premier League’s 8th round.
The home side took the lead in the 29th minute as Mohamed Salah converted a penalty.
For the Egyptian winger, this marked his 162nd goal in the Premier League, equaling the tally of iconic early 2000s striker Jermain Defoe.
Only eight players in Premier League history have scored more goals than Salah. Salah ranks fifth in league history in terms of penalties taken.
