The star of Al-Nassr, Sadio Mane, ceremoniously inaugurated a stadium in his native village, Bambali, in Senegal. The Senegalese national team footballer gifted the stadium to the villagers, covering all expenses from his own funds.

Many prominent figures from Senegal attended the opening ceremony to congratulate Mane on bringing this wonderful initiative to life.

Interestingly, in 2022, Mane was spotted playing on a muddy and unkempt field in Bambali. Photos from that match went viral, and the Senegalese football star promised to build a stadium for the residents of his native village at his own expense.

At 31 years old, Mane is having a successful season in Saudi Arabia, scoring 12 goals in 26 matches for Al-Nassr across all competitions. In January, Sadio will commence his performances in the Africa Cup of Nations with the Senegal national team.
