Monza has been struggling in Serie A this season, leading the club to make another coaching change—reappointing a coach they had dismissed just a month ago.
Details: Monza has officially announced the return of Alessandro Nesta as head coach. The club had dismissed him at the end of December, appointing another manager in his place. However, in that short period, the team managed to collect only three points, whereas under Nesta, they had secured ten.
Reports indicate that the Italian coach has signed a contract until June, with an option to extend for another year.
Monza currently sits at the bottom of the Serie A table with just 13 points from 24 matches. The gap to the 17th-placed team stands at eight points.
Reminder: Lazio recently crushed Monza in their Serie A Matchday 24 encounter, securing a 5-1 victory. With that result, Lazio players have now scored 13 goals as substitutes this season, equaling their own Serie A record from the 1994/95 season.
