World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka won the final Grand Slam tournament of 2024—the US Open. On the main Arthur Ashe court in New York, she triumphed in a thrilling match, defeating Jessica Pegula in straight sets.
Heading into the final, Sabalenka was the clear favorite and managed to prove it on the court. In the first set, Aryna looked more confident than her opponent and deservedly took the set.
