Sherif, on her serves, reached break points twice but failed to claim the games. As a result, Rybakina secured a confident victory of 6-1.

In the second set, the 72nd-ranked player also attempted to challenge her opponent and won the first game, which was on her serve. Afterward, she lost a game on her serve but then regained two. Rybakina once again committed a double fault, but it did not prevent her from claiming her games. Winning all games on her serve and two out of four on return earned her a victory in the second set with a score of 6-3.
