Rumors linking striker Harry Kane with a potential transfer to Barcelona have turned out to be far from the truth.
Details: According to SkySport, despite the upcoming presidential elections at the Catalan club, Harry Kane's transfer this summer is not on the agenda and is considered a completely unrealistic scenario for the Blaugrana.
The Englishman himself has already commented on reports of alleged talks with Barcelona presidential candidate Xavier Vilajoana.
"I haven't heard anything about that. My father and brother haven't told me anything. I'm very happy here," the footballer said, making it clear that his focus remains solely on Munich.
At the same time, Bayern are actively working to keep their star. The club’s management intends to extend Kane’s contract until 2028 or even 2029. Reports indicate that preliminary negotiations have already started, and the striker himself is open to signing a new long-term deal with the German giants.
It's worth noting that the English forward has posted phenomenal numbers this season: in 36 appearances for his club across all competitions, he has scored 43 goals and provided 5 assists.
Reminder: Barcelona thrashed Levante thanks to an incredible long-range goal by Fermin Lopez.
