Ruben Amorim names his favourite player in the Manchester United squad

Amorim will start his job at Old Trafford next week and has already started assessing the team’s squad. In a recent interview, he named the player he is excited to reunite with.

Details. The 39-year-old coach expressed his happiness at the opportunity to work with Ugarte again after they won the Primeira Liga title together with Sporting in 2023.

Amorim told TNT Sports: “All the Uruguayans I’ve coached are incredible, and that’s why I love all Uruguayans... Ugarte is a very talented guy, and he has a lot of potential to grow. I’m really happy to be working with him again at Manchester United!”
