Ruben Amorim may bench Man United's goalkeeper

After a series of costly errors in Europa League matches against Lyon, Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana might lose his spot in the starting lineup. The Red Devils' head coach Ruben Amorim is seriously considering replacing the Cameroonian in the upcoming Premier League match against Newcastle.
Onana made two critical mistakes in the first quarter-final match with Lyon, resulting in United squandering a victory, drawing 2-2. First, he failed to stop a long-range free-kick from Thiago Almada, and then he parried the ball directly to Rayan Cherki, who equalized in the dying moments of the game.
Despite Amorim's public support for the goalkeeper after the match, stating the entire team makes mistakes, the Daily Mail reports that the coach is considering starting Altay Bayındır. This could be the first step towards parting ways with Onana in the near future.
