RS Berkane Secures Quarterfinal Spot with Win Over Stade Malien in CAF Confederation Cup

RS Berkane continued their dominant run in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage, securing a 1-0 victory over Mali’s Stade Malien on Sunday in Bamako. The win, their fourth in as many matches, guarantees their place in the knockout stages with two games to spare.

When Imad Riahi scored the game's lone goal in the 64th minute, Berkane secured their 12th point in Group B. That was the game-changing moment. With this outcome, the Moroccan team maintains their lead in the group, six points ahead of South Africa's Stellenbosch FC, who are in second place.

Stade Malien, with 4 points, remains in third place, while Angola’s Luanda Sol sits at the bottom with just 1 point.
