RS Berkane gives Mouine Chaabani the green light to take charge of the Tunisian national team
Having been approached by the Tunisian Football Federation, the Tunisian manager has, by mutual agreement, left the Moroccan club’s coaching staff.
Mouine Chaabani is set to join the coaching staff of the Tunisian national team. Having been approached by the governing body of Tunisian football, the 45-year-old manager is leaving his post at RS Berkane despite having a contract running until 2027.
In announcing the departure of its manager this Friday 17 July, the Moroccan club stated that it had acceded to the request of the Tunisian authorities. Consequently, RS Berkane has released Mouine Chaabani from his contractual obligations so that he can become the new manager of the Eagles of Carthage.
There is therefore no longer any doubt that Mouine Chaabani will soon take the reins of the Tunisian national team. The Tunisian manager is expected to be officially appointed in the coming days.
