Roy Jones Jr. addresses speculation about a potential fight with Jake Paul
Former boxing world champion Roy Jones Jr. has commented on rumors regarding a potential matchup against 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
Details. According to the legendary boxer, no one has reached out to him regarding a hypothetical bout with Paul.
Quote. "This post has cost me many restless nights because of people speculating. I appreciate what Jake has done for our sport. I also admire the time and effort he's put into honing his craft. Since I was Mike [Tyson's] last opponent before that big exhibition they put on, I feel like I might be the most notable opponent at this moment.
However, no one has contacted me about any accusations or arrangements, so at this point, it's not real. For the record – I’m always just one call away," Jones Jr. shared on Instagram.
Recall. On November 16, Jake Paul secured a unanimous decision victory over 58-year-old Mike Tyson.
