Golf star Rory McIlroy has vowed to spend the upcoming holidays with his wife and daughter, according to Daily Mail. The golfer made this statement following his victory at the DP World Tour in Dubai.

McIlroy’s closest family members were there to support him during the tournament. After his win, Rory was joined by his wife Erica Stoll and their daughter Poppy for a celebratory photo with the trophy.

This joyful reunion follows shocking news from May, when reports surfaced that the couple had filed for divorce. However, during the US Open week, McIlroy announced that they had decided to reconcile and preserve their marriage. The couple now appears to have reaffirmed the strength of their bond.

"Their support means the world to me and to be able to show Poppy what happened and some of the reasons maybe why I'm not around all of the time because I'm working or practising," McIlroy shared emotionally in an interview with PGA Tour's Diary.

Following the victory, Rory pledged to set aside his golf clubs for a while to enjoy the holiday season with his loved ones.
