Rooney Calls Amorim 'Naive' for Premier League Ambitions

Following the FA Cup exit against Fulham, Ruben Amorim made a statement that, to put it mildly, wasn't well-received by the public.

Details: The Manchester United head coach declared that the ultimate goal is to win the Premier League, but former "Red Devils" forward Wayne Rooney accused Amorim of being naive.

Quote: "I think it's a bit naive to say they want to win the Premier League because, judging by their current position, they are far from it."

Soon after, Amorim responded to Rooney, stating that he doesn't intend to aim for a Premier League victory this or next season, but the club sets it as a long-term goal.

Reminder: Previously, the club's management declared the goal to win the Premier League by 2028, and the Portuguese specialist called its achievement quite realistic.
