Harry Kane has undeniably cemented his place as a legend in English football, and today his achievements have been immortalized forever.
Details: A statue of the 31-year-old Bayern Munich striker was unveiled outside the Peter May Sports Centre, where Kane took his first steps in football. The ceremony was attended by the player himself.
“This is truly a proud moment for me—to return to where my football journey began and unveil this statue. I hope it inspires the next generation to work hard and believe in themselves,” Kane said during the event.
However, the statue’s craftsmanship has sparked mixed reactions online, with some comparing it to the infamous Cristiano Ronaldo statue on Madeira Island.
Reminder: On the same day, Tottenham Hotspur, the club where Kane enjoyed the prime years of his career, revealed a rebranded logo.
With 68 goals in 102 matches, Kane remains the all-time leading scorer for the England national team.
