Ronaldo’s goal and Duran’s brace help Al Nassr thrash Al-Fayha

On Friday, February 7, Al Nassr hosted Al-Fayha in a Saudi Pro League matchday 19 clash.

The home side took the lead midway through the first half. In the 22nd minute, new signing Jhon Duran put his team ahead. No further goals were scored in the opening 45 minutes.

It wasn’t until the latter stages of the game that Al Nassr struck again. In the 72nd minute, Duran completed his brace, and just two minutes later, the hosts netted their third goal, this time through Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese star’s latest strike marks the 924th goal of his career, leaving him 76 away from the historic 1,000-goal milestone.

Notably, Jhon Duran recently joined Al Nassr from Aston Villa in a high-profile transfer worth €77 million.
