Today, Al-Nassr faced Qatar’s Al-Gharafa away in the 5th round of the AFC Champions League.
The first half was evenly contested and ended 0-0, with Al-Nassr creating only a few dangerous chances.
However, just after the break, the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo put the Saudi team ahead with a brilliant header.
In the 58th minute, Al-Nassr doubled their lead through Angelo, who, just six minutes later, set up Ronaldo for a second goal, allowing the Portuguese star to complete his brace.
The hosts managed to respond with a goal by former Real Madrid forward Joselu in the 75th minute, but it was not enough.
With this win, Al-Nassr climbed to a provisional second place in the AFC Champions League group standings and will not drop below third after the 5th round.
