Ronaldo officially extends contract with Al-Nassr

The end of last season was marked by an unexpected message from Cristiano Ronaldo, hinting at his possible departure from Al-Nassr. It’s unclear what he meant, as he will remain in Riyadh.

Details: The club has announced that the Portuguese superstar has extended his contract until 2027. The specific terms of the deal for the 40-year-old Ronaldo haven’t been disclosed, but if he fulfills his contract, he will leave the team at the age of 42.

Reminder: In addition to Ronaldo’s contract extension, Al-Nassr is currently searching for a new head coach, as the Riyadh-based club announced yesterday that they have parted ways with Italian manager Stefano Pioli, who had only taken charge nine months ago.

The Portugal national team striker has been playing for the Saudi club since January 1, 2023. To date, he has made 105 appearances, scoring 93 goals and providing 19 assists.
