Ronaldinho's son is training with Barcelona's first team

During the break for national team matches, Barcelona's head coach, Xavi, decided to involve talented players from the club's youth structure in the first team's training sessions. One of these players is Joao Mendes, the son of legendary Ronaldinho. This decision was prompted by the absence of several first-team players who left the club's facilities to participate in their national team games.

Mendes, who plays as a center forward, signed a contract with Barcelona in the summer of 2023. Ronaldinho's son joined the team in training to gain experience and showcase his potential.

It's worth noting that Ronaldinho played 207 matches for Barcelona, scoring 94 goals and providing 70 assists. With the club, he won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup twice each, clinched the UEFA Champions League title, and was awarded the Ballon d'Or.
