Romantic gesture: Sergio Ramos celebrates 6th wedding anniversary with his wife

Monterrey footballer Sergio Ramos marked his 6th wedding anniversary with his wife, Pilar Rubio, yesterday, June 16. The Spanish defender shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram page to commemorate the occasion.

Ramos posted a collection of photos with his wife from Los Angeles, each accompanied by a touching caption.

“6 years of loving each other, understanding one another, enjoying life together as a family and as a couple, celebrating with friends, growing, laughing, crying, overcoming challenges, adapting to changes, and continuing to be ourselves—together. A special day that I get to experience with you every single day. How wonderful it is to celebrate it in the city where it all began! Los Angeles forever! 6 years of saying ‘yes’, 6 years that mean everything. I love you,” wrote Sergio.

It’s worth noting that Ramos and Rubio met in 2012 and tied the knot in 2019. The couple are raising four sons: Sergio, 11, Marco, 10, Alejandro, 7, and Maximo, 5.

Interestingly, Rubio is eight years older than her husband, but for Ramos, that has never been an issue.
