Galatasaray star Mauro Icardi escaped for a romantic getaway with fiancée China Suárez, jetting off to the island of Ibiza. The footballer shared snapshots from their trip on his Instagram page.
Icardi posted photos showing the couple relaxing by the sea, soaking up the sun and embracing the beauty of nature. The pair look absolutely blissful and clearly smitten with each other.
It's worth noting that Mauro Icardi recently recovered from a cruciate ligament rupture in his knee, an injury he suffered back in November last year. The Argentine was unable to feature in Galatasaray's final matches of the current season, but he is already back training with the squad and gearing up for next season.
Together with the Lions, Mauro celebrated Galatasaray's latest league title in style, making his own—albeit modest—contribution. In the Turkish Süper Lig, before his injury, he played 7 matches, scoring 4 goals and providing 1 assist.
Across all competitions, he has made 14 appearances, netting 6 goals and delivering 2 assists.
