Tonight in Las Vegas, USA, the UFC Fight Night 235 tournament will take place at the Apex arena.

In the main event of the evening, athletes from the top echelon of the middleweight rankings, Roman Dolidze (12-2) from Georgia, and the Frenchman Nassourdine Imavov (12-4), who hold the eighth and eleventh positions in the rankings, respectively, will clash in the octagon.

Dolidze, in March of last year, fell short in a title bout, succumbing to Marvin Vettori, who ascended to the top 5 in the rankings by a judges' decision. Before that, the Georgian had a winning streak, securing four consecutive victories, including a knockout triumph over his first top contender, Jack Hermansson.

Imavov, in January of last year, suffered a decision loss to Sean Strickland and in June engaged in a bout with former champion Chris Curtis, which was ruled a no-contest due to a clash of heads. Prior to this, the Frenchman defeated Ian Heinisch, Edmen Shahbazyan, and earned a decision victory against Joaquin Buckley.

The main event will feature lightweights Renato Moicano and Drew Dober, both ranked in the top 15.
