Roma will not extend Hummels' contract
In the summer of 2024, Mats Hummels signed with Roma as a free agent, but it seems he won't be staying in Rome for long.
Details: According to insider Florian Plettenberg, Roma does not intend to extend the agreement with the German defender. Hummels himself has already received the corresponding signals. The player feels comfortable in Rome, but the move has not been successful for either party.
Earlier reports indicated that Hummels wants to be closer to his family, and therefore does not intend to extend the contract that expires in a few months. His goal is to return to Germany, where he plans to finish his career.
Reminder: Dybala risks missing the rest of the season due to a serious muscle injury. The Argentine will undergo surgery in the coming days.
