AS Roma has released an official statement regarding the health of central defender Evan Ndicka, who felt unwell during the match against Udinese. The French footballer collapsed on the pitch and grabbed his chest.

According to the club's announcement, Ndicka underwent medical examinations, and there is no threat to his life. He feels very well and will return to Rome soon.

Initial medical findings indicate that the player experienced a bout of tachycardia.

It is known that Roma's head coach Daniele De Rossi and team captain Lorenzo Pellegrini contacted Ndicka, and he reassured them that he is fine.

Following this incident, the Udinese vs. Roma match was interrupted in the 72nd minute with the score tied at 1-1. The players decided not to continue the game. It is currently unknown when the replay will take place.

Ndicka joined Roma last summer as a free agent, with Eintracht Frankfurt being his previous club. In the current season, he has played 27 matches across all competitions and provided 2 assists.
