Mason Greenwood is set to continue his career at Fenerbahçe. According to Fanatik, the English striker is already on his way to Istanbul for a medical, with the deal between the clubs virtually sealed.
For a long time, Roma was considered the front-runner for the player. The Rome-based club viewed Greenwood as a top target to strengthen the left flank of their attack and was prepared to offer around €50 million for his signature.
However, Fenerbahçe managed to outpace their rivals by reaching an early agreement with the player on personal terms. Sources say Greenwood's salary at the Turkish club could reach up to €9 million per season.
According to Italian media, the transfer fee will be €45 million plus bonuses. Meanwhile, Turkish outlets report that the guaranteed portion of the deal is valued at €39.5 million, with additional payments contingent on various conditions, including a potential Fenerbahçe triumph in the Turkish Super Lig.
