Roma is no longer considering the possibility of signing the central defender Leonardo Bonucci, according to Get Italian Football News.

Details are not disclosed at the moment, but earlier La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the "wolves" have doubts about the transfer because Roma fans oppose him, believing that the former Juventus player lacks affection for the team.

Leonardo Bonucci is an Italian footballer, a central defender for Union Berlin and the Italian national team, where he has been playing since 2010. He participated in the UEFA Euro 2016 and the FIFA World Cups in 2010 and 2014. He won a silver medal at the UEFA Euro 2012 and a bronze medal at the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2013. He was part of the Italy team that won the UEFA Euro 2021.

He joined Juventus in 2010 and played for the Turin club for seven seasons, featuring in 227 games and scoring 14 goals. In 2017-2018, he moved to AC Milan for €40 million, signing a five-year contract. However, after the 2017/18 season, during which he played 35 games and scored two goals, he returned to Juventus, where he spent another four seasons.
