Roma secured a 1-0 away victory over Milan in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals.

Roma took the lead in the 17th minute. Following an excellent corner kick from Paulo Dybala, central defender Gianluca Mancini of Roma headed the ball into the net.

After that, Milan controlled possession more but managed only five shots on target against Roma's goalkeeper Mile Svilar.

This victory marked Roma's first win against Milan since 2019.

The return leg will take place in Rome exactly one week later, on April 18th.

The winner of this tie will face the winner between Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham United in the semi-finals.
