Roma announces contract extension with Leandro Paredes

Roma has officially announced on their website the contract extension with experienced defensive midfielder Leandro Paredes.

Details. Roma's press service reports that the 30-year-old Paredes has extended his contract with the Roman club until June 30, 2026.

Having arrived in the Italian capital in 2014 from Boca Juniors, the Argentine has donned the Giallorossi shirt in two different periods: during the 2014-15 and 2016–17 seasons, before returning in the summer of 2023. The midfielder has played 129 matches and scored 10 goals in all competitions for Roma.

Reminder. It was previously reported that Roma's head coach Claudio Ranieri will pay a €20,000 fine to UEFA.
