The world's top 20 tennis players issued an open letter to the organizers of the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open, demanding an increase in prize money. The athletes believe they do not benefit sufficiently from the profits generated by the four Grand Slam tournaments.
According to L'Équipe, their demand was partially met at least by the organizers of the French Open, who announced an increase in prize money.
