Rodrygo’s father was searching for a new club for his son last summer

In the summer of 2025, Rodrygo was reportedly uncertain about his future at Real Madrid, and his entourage began exploring possible transfer options.

Details: According to Romain Molina, the Brazilian winger’s father actively looked for a potential new club for his son. However, during a meeting with Real Madrid’s management, the club denied any such negotiations.

When it came to finding a new team, Rodrygo’s father is said to have made numerous demands to interested clubs — all of which were ultimately rejected.

It was also previously reported that during Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure, some players would fly to Ibiza after matches instead of returning to Madrid, skipping training sessions and doing as they pleased. Reportedly, those same players tried to repeat this under Xabi Alonso, but it didn’t work out this time.

Reminder: cameras recently captured Vinícius Júnior’s reaction to being substituted, and it was later revealed what the Brazilian forward actually said in that moment.
