Real Madrid drew 1–1 with Girona in their previous match, and one of Los Blancos’ forwards has now entered the club’s record books for the wrong reason.
Details: According to MisterChip (Alexis), Rodrygo has gone 30 matches without scoring. His last goal came on March 4, 2025, in the UEFA Champions League, and he has not found the net since. Rodrygo has now equalled the worst streak in Real Madrid’s 123-year history.
Mariano Díaz also endured a 30-match drought, but his dry spell lasted 986 minutes, whereas Rodrygo has gone 1,339 minutes without scoring. Rafa Marañón went 29 straight matches without a goal, and his run stretched to 1,416 minutes.
Reminder: Kylian Mbappé noted that the match did not deliver the desired result. Still, the season is long, and the team must show its true character.
