The Cameroonian striker underwent surgery following a cruciate ligament injury to his knee.

The 2025–2026 season ended on a sour note for Rodrigue Dipanda. The Cameroonian, who plays for Deportivo La Coruña, had to undergo surgery. The player announced this himself on social media, stating that it was the last thing he expected.

“After several tests, I was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and I need to have surgery. This isn’t what I was expecting, but I’m keeping my spirits up and I’ll do everything I can to come back stronger. I know it will be a long road, but I’m ready to take on this challenge with determination and patience.”

The Cameroonian striker is set to begin his rehabilitation, which is expected to last several months. This season, Rodrigue Dipanda has scored eight goals for Deportivo La Coruña’s reserve team.
