Rodri reveals he hasn't started vontract talks with Manchester City

Late last month, Manchester City’s central midfielder Rodri made headlines by unexpectedly winning the 2024 Ballon d’Or. However, his future at the club remains uncertain.

Details: Speaking to Partidazo Cope, Rodri stated that he has not yet started negotiations for a new contract with Manchester City. According to him, the reason lies in his ACL injury.

"We didn’t even started talking about new deal. I’m injured... extending my contract at Man City is not my priority now".

"I want to recover in the best way possible, that's my focus... and then we will see"

Rodri’s current contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2027.

Reminder: Rodri previously hinted that he might consider leaving City if Pep Guardiola departs from the club.
