‘Robin Hood’. Liverpool fans have criticized Arne Slot after defeat to Nottingham

Arne Slot started his career at Liverpool perfectly, heading into the international break with three clean-sheet victories, including a thrashing of Manchester United.

However, today the Merseysiders and their coach experienced a real "cold shower," sensationally losing to Nottingham Forest (0-1).

Liverpool fans were not forgiving towards Slot after the fiasco. A storm of criticism erupted on social media.

One fan posted on X: "Strange that Slot keeps playing Bradley and Tsimikas in every game, I'll be realistic."

Another fan wrote: "Why do we have 4 defenders on the bench and no Chiesa? It's madness."

The coach's lineup decisions also raised many questions.

"You can't sub out Mac Allister and leave Szoboszlai. Keeping Trent in midfield in a game where the team is losing. Not using fresh legs from the bench. Repeatedly fielding the same team, making it easy for opponents to predict your moves," wrote one fan on X.

Additionally, there were a series of memes comparing Slot to Robin Hood, who took from the rich and gave to the poor. These analogies were drawn in light of such contrasting performances against Manchester United and Nottingham.
