Robin Gosens could return to Serie A in Italy

German wing-back Robin Gosens moved from Inter Milan to Union Berlin last summer for 13 million euros.

However, the season in his homeland did not go as well as expected for the 29-year-old footballer. Gosens played 37 matches, scoring seven goals and providing four assists, but his team failed to qualify for European competitions and narrowly avoided relegation from the Bundesliga. This critical situation has prompted Gosens to consider new offers, despite having a contract until 2028.

The first offer came from Italian club Bologna, which will debut in the Champions League next season. However, Union Berlin was not satisfied with their proposal of a loan with an option to buy for 7 million euros. Negotiations are ongoing, with the Germans insisting on a full transfer.

It's worth noting that Gosens previously played in Italy for Inter Milan and Atalanta.
