Robert Lewandowski will play in the second match of the European Championship

Poland will play against Austria in the second round of the 2024 European Championship, with Robert Lewandowski ready to take part in this match.

The leader and captain of the Polish team missed the first group stage match against the Netherlands due to an injury sustained in a friendly match. Currently, he is fit and will start against Austria.

It is worth recalling that Poland lost to the Netherlands with a score of 1-2 in their first match. The Dutch secured the necessary three points in the latter part of the game, with Wout Weghorst's precise strike sealing their victory.

In his 150 appearances for the Polish national team, Lewandowski has scored 82 goals, which is the highest in its history.
