According to Dailysports, the standout performer of the evening was Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski. The Catalan side hosted Brest and secured a convincing 3-0 victory. Lewandowski opened the scoring in the 10th minute, marking his 100th career goal in the UEFA Champions League. He now trails only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in all-time Champions League goals.
Late in the match, the Polish forward scored his second goal, completing a brace. Lewandowski also won three out of four aerial duels and five out of eight ground duels. Additionally, he drew five fouls.
