The Spurs' defensive leader has become one of the hottest commodities on the transfer market.

Details: According to renowned journalist and insider Nicolò Schira on his X social media page, Liverpool and Manchester United are ready to battle it out for Tottenham’s 25-year-old central defender, Micky van de Ven.

Reports suggest that the Red Devils and the Scousers are looking to capitalize on Tottenham’s internal turmoil and persuade Van de Ven to switch clubs during the summer transfer window.

If the player expresses a desire to leave, Spurs’ management will demand €90 million for him.

This season, Van de Ven has featured in 40 matches for Tottenham, scoring 7 goals and providing 1 assist. His current contract with Tottenham runs until 2029, and his market value, according to Transfermarkt, stands at €65 million.

Reminder: Bad news for De Zerbi. Tottenham lose one of their key players to injury
