River Open Libertadores Campaign With a Win in Lima, Castaño Shines in First Start

Initially deployed as a right-sided interior, Castaño impressed with his work rate, defensive presence, and intelligent attacking runs. With the result, River join Barcelona SC at the top of Group B, both with three points. Barcelona defeated Independiente del Valle 1–0 in their opening match.
