Glen De Boeck has left us far too soon.

Details: Today it was reported that former Anderlecht and Belgian national team player Glen De Boeck has died at the age of 53.

According to reports, his death occurred during the night from Sunday to Friday due to a sudden and severe brain hemorrhage, which led to a deep coma and ultimately proved fatal.

Throughout his career, Glen De Boeck played as a central defender and represented clubs such as FC Boom, Mechelen, and Anderlecht. He made 281 appearances for Anderlecht, scoring 23 goals and providing 3 assists. He also earned 36 caps for the Belgian national team, netting one goal—scored against France.
