Details: Today, the official Nottingham Forest page on social network X announced that former team midfielder John Robertson has passed away at the age of 71.
Robertson played for Nottingham Forest from 1970 to 1986. During his time at the club, Forest won the Champions League twice, the UEFA Super Cup, claimed the English Premier League title once, lifted the FA Cup twice, and also won the English Super Cup.
Robertson made 350 appearances for Forest, scoring 71 goals and providing 36 assists.
Robertson's last position was at Aston Villa, where he served as assistant manager from 2006 to 2010.
