RIP. Former Lyon player Bryan Bergougnoux dies at age 43

Details: It was announced today that former attacking midfielder for Toulouse, Lyon, and Lecce, Bryan Bergougnoux, has passed away at the age of 43.
Reports indicate that Bryan fell ill while driving to the stadium, where he was set to take part in a legends match. Sadly, he never made it to the event.
After suffering several bouts of unconsciousness, Bergougnoux was rushed to the hospital, where doctors tried to save him, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
Bergougnoux's most recent role was as assistant coach at French club Le Havre, working alongside head coach Didier Digard since July 2025.
During his playing career, Bergougnoux won the French championship four times with Lyon and lifted the French Cup three times.
