Details: Today, the official website of English club Linfield reported the death of former 23-year-old defender Callum McVeigh.
It is reported that the cause of death was an accident, but no further details have been disclosed at this time.
During his brief career, McVeigh played for clubs including Linfield, Portadown, Ards, as well as his most recent team—Knockbreda, which competes in the English Third Division.
This season, McVeigh managed to appear in four matches for Knockbreda, though he did not record any goals or assists.
The club has already expressed heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and both former and current teammates of the deceased.
