The courage shown by the late Amy is something many can only admire!

Details: According to The Mirror, it has been reported today that former England international and ex-player for Chelsea and Arsenal, Amy Carr, has sadly passed away after a long illness.

It is reported that Carr's heart stopped at the age of 35, after her body could no longer fight against a brain tumor.

Carr was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2015, and throughout these years, she fought the disease with incredible determination. In 2024, she even managed to run a marathon to raise funds for brain tumor research. On that occasion, Carr raised an impressive £28,718, which went to charitable medical foundations.

Unfortunately, last year doctors gave her a grim prognosis—no more than a year to live—which, sadly, turned out to be accurate.

During her career, Amy Carr made 16 appearances for England's youth teams, represented Reading, and—as previously mentioned—London clubs Chelsea and Arsenal.

Rest in peace, Amy!
