RIP. An incredible and fatal chain of circumstances! Young footballer tragically dies at 20

Polish football has been plunged into deep mourning following a bizarre and shocking road accident.

Details: A horrific traffic accident in Poland has claimed the life of 20-year-old Kania Gostyń defender Oskar Kordus. The fatal crash occurred in the early hours on the Gostyń bypass, on the DW434 highway between the towns of Krajewice and Grabonóg.

According to local outlet Gostyń24, the tragedy was the result of a fatal chain of events. A Volkswagen first struck an animal that was crossing the road; the driver was unharmed. The force of the impact sent the deer flying into the opposite lane, directly into the path of an oncoming BMW driven by Oskar Kordus. The animal smashed through the windshield and inflicted devastating facial and head injuries on the footballer. The young athlete was rushed to hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life.

It is worth noting that Oskar Kordus was born on March 25, 2006, and played as a defender. He came through the ranks at Korona Piaski and, at youth level, also represented the academies of Zagłębie Lubin and Warta Poznań. Most recently, the footballer represented Kania Gostyń in Poland's fourth tier. The club's management has already officially confirmed the irreparable loss and extended its condolences to the family of the player.
