RIP. 15-year-old Angers SCA footballer dies after drowning in river

Nea's life was cut tragically short.

Details: Today, the official Angers SCA club page on social network X reported that a player from the club’s youth women’s team, named Nea, died in a tragic accident.

It was reported that Nea drowned in the Loire River in Soucelles.

The club offered its heartfelt condolences to the family in this time of immense grief:

“Angers SCO has learned with deep sorrow of the passing of Nea, an Angers SCA player, at the age of 15.”

The club extends its sincere condolences to her family and loved ones, as well as to our partner club," the statement read.
