Rio Ferdinand Defends Amorim and Points Out Manchester United's Weak Links

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has come to the defense of the club's head coach, Rúben Amorim, while identifying the team's weak points.

Quote: "When you look at him, you think: 'He always seems quite confident in the long term; he’s not going to compromise his ideas for short-term results.' And I completely agree. To change and revert to what they were doing before… they weren’t winning then. So why go back to what suits the players?

The key element in this system is physical fitness. Eriksen and Casemiro are likely the weak links who aren’t helping the team. However, if they could train harder and Amorim could fully implement his ideas, the team wouldn’t look as unconvincing as they do," Ferdinand said.

Background: It was previously reported that Manchester United is considering the option of selling three players.
