Richard Towa makes his mark at Colombe Sportive

Since taking charge of the Colombe Sportive coaching staff, Richard Towa has enjoyed a string of successes and is helping to write some of the finest chapters in the Cameroonian club’s history.

It all began in the 2023–2024 season with a first major triumph: victory in the Cameroon Cup. This achievement marked the start of a particularly successful period for the Southern Bird. The following season, Colombe Sportive confirmed its progress.

The club reached the final of the Cameroon Cup in 2024–2025, before clinching the Elite One title, Cameroon’s professional league. This momentum continued in 2025 with victory in the Cameroon Super Cup, followed by another league title in the 2025–2026 season.

But Richard Towa and his players are not confining themselves to domestic competitions. In the 2026–2027 season, Colombe Sportive achieved another feat by qualifying, for the very first time in its history, for the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

This run is testament to the club’s progress under Richard Towa’s leadership.
